Harper Lee, John Steinbeck, Irving Stone, & Ernest Gann. To Kill a Mockingbird, Winter of Our Discontent, Agony and Ecstasy & Fate is the Hunter. Pleasantville, NY: Reader's Digest, 1961. First Thus.

Binding: Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good Condition. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good-. Size: 7.5"-8" - Small Octavo (Sm. 8vo). 574 pages.

An unusually good selection of Best Sellers, especially since it includes the first printing of "To Kill a Mockingbird" as a Reader's Digest Condensed Book. Stated "First Edition" on the copyright page. Great find for the completist collector of one of the authors.

Quarter-bound in ivory leatherette spine with rose textured paper, embossed with gilt decorations. Lower corner of the front cover has sustained a bump, otherwise very little shelf wear. Unread, so the binding is tight (has not been broken in), bright and unmarked. Top edge gilt - bright, rich condition.

Unclipped dust jacket has wear at the corners and head of the spine. Some surface wear at the folds and the spine is slightly faded. It is now protected in a clear archival Brodart sleeve.
