A Very Good copy of a key resource on the topic. This is a 1936 reprint of the 1906 Third Edition, Revised. From the preface: "The documents in this volume are intended to serve either as a basis for the study of the Constitutional History of an important period, or as a companion to the Political History of the time."

Hardbound in dark brown cloth over boards with the title in bright gilt on the spine. Minimal wear at head and foot of the spine. Corners are not worn through, but are slightly turned in.

The plain paper unclipped wrapper (8s. 6d.) shows wear at the folds and the spine is darkened from exposure. It is now protected in a Brodart archival sleeve.

Text block is tight, bright and unmarked. Previous owner's signature in ink at the head of the front free end paper, dated Cambridge: March 1944.
