An association copy signed by Miep Gies, who worked for Otto Frank and helped provide supplies to the Frank family while they were in hiding. She is also the one who discovered Anne's diary after the family was captured and stored it in the hopes to returning it to Anne after the war. Inscribed "To [name]" at the top of the title page and "Miep Gies" under the names of the author and editors toward the bottom of the page.
Fine hardcover quarter bound in red cloth with bright gilt title on spine and red paper over boards. Corners sharp; only the slightest of shelf wear.
Unclipped ($25.00) dust jacket in Near Fine condition. No tears or chipping, just a bit of rubbing from having been shelved between other books. It is now protected in a clear archival Brodart sleeve.
Text block is tight, bright and unmarked. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
